In contemporary kitchen design, the porcelain stoneware has progressively exceeded the role of a simple cladding, transforming into a multifunctional furniture surface. Thanks to durability, low water absorption, mechanical resistance and color stability, the ceramic material today becomes an active element even in the home's most demanding areas.
With Ghost, Casalgrande Padana applies these characteristics to the induction cooktop, integrating it directly into the kitchen top in porcelain stoneware and creating a continuous, uniform surface free of visual interruptions.
Ghost integrated induction cooktops: material continuity and total look design
The Ghost integrated induction cooktops by Casalgrande Padana are designed to harmonize with the ceramic surfaces in the catalogue available in 12 mm and 20 mm thicknesses, allowing the creation of kitchens characterized by strong material continuity.
Iridescent highlights, delicate veins, translucencies and graphic details allow the development of total look design projects, extending the same surface language to:
- kitchen tops
- islands
- tables
- floors
- wall coverings
The result is an essential, minimal and visually tidy kitchen, where the porcelain stoneware surface becomes the true structuring element of the design.
Ghost Silent and Ghost Invisible: two interpretations of the active surface
The Ghost line by Casalgrande Padana is offered in two versions, both realizable with slabs in porcelain stoneware, which interpret the concept of active surface in the kitchen differently. Ghost Silent integrates a high-performance extraction and filtration system beneath the porcelain top, keeping the work surface perfectly continuous and visually clean. The hob features four cooking zones with a double bridge function for using long pans, a hood motor with multiple speeds and an intensive function, integrated touch controls and an Easy Lift system that allows lifting the central part for simple and immediate cleaning without the need for disassembly. A solution that combines technical efficiency, user ergonomics and formal cleanliness, meeting the demands of contemporary kitchen projects.
Ghost Invisible – induction cooktop integrated beneath the surface
Ghost Invisible completely hides the induction cooktop beneath the porcelain stoneware top. A perimeter light visually defines the cooking zones, making the technology perceptible only when necessary. Equipped with four zones with bridge function, an integrated touch remote control and light indication of the active areas.
Ghost Invisible interprets the concept of active surface, where the worktop remains completely free and uniform when not in use.
