Five new sintered stone surfaces, different interpretations of material and a color research aimed at expanding design possibilities in contemporary furniture.
At SICAM 2026, held in Pordenone from October 20 to 23, Neolith presented the new additions to the THE EDIT. A new material language collection, a project that explores the relationship between surfaces, color and material language.
The highlights at the fair were Pale Fossil, Glazed Opaline, Dorset Mist, Serene Emerald and Calacatta Viola, five new proposals developed around distinct expressive codes.
The surfaces expand the brand's aesthetic repertoire through new shades, veining and material details, offering additional integration possibilities in architecture and interior design projects. Alongside THE EDIT collection, Neolith also introduced the Neolith ARCHITECTURAL line, presenting Neolith Azahar in the new Soft Cava finish.
THE EDIT: five Neolith surfaces, five expressive codes
The THE EDIT. A new material language collection interprets sintered stone through a design language based on the relationship between material, color and decoration. The five new surfaces presented at SICAM 2026 represent five distinct Expression Codes, each characterized by its own aesthetic identity.
The research focuses on color nuances, veining and surface details, with interpretations ranging from visual balance to solutions with a more intense character. Through this approach, Neolith expands the use possibilities of decorative surfaces for furniture and interior design, offering designers different material languages to integrate into environments.
Pale Fossil, Glazed Opaline, Dorset Mist, Serene Emerald and Calacatta Viola
The five new entries in THE EDIT collection presented by Neolith at SICAM 2026 are: Pale Fossil, Glazed Opaline, Dorset Mist, Serene Emerald and Calacatta Viola.
The new proposals stand out through different combinations of color, veining, mottling and finishes, contributing to broaden the aesthetic possibilities of sintered stone.
The collection's goal is to provide furniture and design professionals with a range of surfaces capable of dialoguing with different architectural languages. The variety of material interpretations allows the cladding to be used not only as a functional element but also as an expressive component of the project.
Neolith sintered stone: applications for kitchen countertops and claddings
The new Neolith THE EDIT surfaces were presented through applications designed to highlight their versatility across different furniture contexts. Key uses include kitchen countertops, claddings, interior vertical surfaces and architectural applications.
In particular, sintered stone can help define projects where surfaces play a central role in the aesthetics of spaces. On kitchen countertops and islands, veining and finishes can become distinctive elements of the composition.
On vertical coverings, material continuity and color choice help characterize walls and architectural surfaces. The presentation at SICAM emphasized the application potential of the new Neolith proposals, linking aesthetic research to the design needs of the furniture industry.
Neolith ARCHITECTURAL: Azahar in the new Soft Cava finish
Alongside the five THE EDIT surfaces, Neolith also introduced at SICAM 2026 a new item from the Neolith ARCHITECTURAL line. This is Neolith Azahar in the new Soft Cava finish, which broadens the aesthetic and design possibilities of the range.
The proposal is part of the brand's exploration of surface finishes and different ways of interpreting sintered stone. The finish thus becomes an element to consider when choosing the material, along with color and surface pattern. The introduction of Soft Cava for Azahar enriches Neolith's offering for architectural applications and interior design.
Surfaces for furniture and interior design: the role of material research
Neolith's presence at SICAM 2026 placed the relationship between material research, surface development and furniture design at the center.
The THE EDIT collection explores the aesthetic language of sintered stone through different chromatic and material interpretations, while the ARCHITECTURAL line expands choice possibilities through new finishes.
For architects, interior designers and furniture companies, the availability of surfaces with differing aesthetic characteristics represents a tool to develop coordinated and customized projects. In this context, kitchen countertops, claddings and vertical surfaces become areas where the material directly contributes to defining the identity of spaces.
Neolith and the Italian market: presence at SICAM 2026
Participation in SICAM 2026 was an opportunity for Neolith to engage with professionals from the furniture and design industries. The company confirmed the importance of the Italian market, where it operates through a network of partners and an established relationship with the design community.
Among the brand's local reference points is the Neolith Urban Boutique in Milan, recently renovated and dedicated to dialogue with architects, interior designers and professionals. With the presentation of the new THE EDIT surfaces and the Soft Cava finish for Azahar, Neolith brought to SICAM 2026 a proposal focused on the application possibilities of sintered stone in furniture, confirming the role of material research in the development of collections.
