New ceramic surfaces for floors and claddings, large slabs and decorative collections that reinterpret natural materials and refined finishes. At Cersaie 2026, RAK Ceramics showcases its innovations through One Step Ahead, the concept that brings together technological research, material development and new solutions for contemporary architecture.
The company expands its offering in the sector of surfaces for interior design through three design directions: the development of the RAK Ceramics collections, the new partnership with the fashion house Roberto Cavalli and the evolution of Elie Saab Surfaces & Wellness.
At the heart of the proposal are stone- and marble-effect finishes, three-dimensional textures, decorative surfaces and large-format ceramic slabs, designed for different applications in residential and project settings. The exhibition path also connects floors, claddings, furniture elements and bathroom solutions, highlighting the role of ceramics in shaping interiors.
New RAK Ceramics surfaces: stone, marble effects and three-dimensional textures
RAK Ceramics' research on porcelain stoneware surfaces and ceramics focuses on the balance between technical performance, aesthetic result and application possibilities. The new proposals presented at Cersaie 2026 include stone-effect claddings, marble-effect surfaces, tactile finishes and three-dimensional structures, with references to nature and Italian architectural tradition.
Veining, reliefs and color variations become design elements that help characterize floors, walls and furniture surfaces.
Technological development is supported by RAK Ceramics' Innotech Lab, which works on digital technologies, high-definition structures and three-dimensional textures. This research expands the expressive possibilities of ceramics, with surfaces that reproduce different material effects and introduce new decorative solutions for interior architecture.

Maximus: large ceramic slabs up to 162×324 cm
Among the proposals RAK Ceramics offers for surface design, an important role is played by Maximus, the range of large ceramic slabs developed for architectural and furniture applications. The slabs reach the maximum size of 162×324 cm and are available in different thicknesses depending on the intended use.
Possible applications include:
- Floors and claddings for interior spaces.
- Kitchen tops and countertops, depending on the product's technical specifications.
- Facades, for architectural applications.
- Furniture components, through the integration of ceramic surfaces into the design.
The large format makes it possible to create extended surfaces and to enhance the visual continuity of veins and decorations, in relation to the pattern and installation. Maximus thus represents an option for architects and interior designers interested in using large-format ceramic slabs beyond traditional floor and wall applications.
Roberto Cavalli Surfaces & Wellness: decorative claddings inspired by fashion
One of the main news announced by RAK Ceramics at Cersaie 2026 is the multi-year exclusive partnership with Roberto Cavalli, dedicated to the development of surfaces and solutions for bathroom and wellness. The new collection Roberto Cavalli Surfaces & Wellness is born from the Contemporary Inlay concept, which interprets the theme of contemporary inlay through the dialogue between materials, decoration and architecture.
The maison's aesthetic language is transferred to the surfaces through stone, marble, wood, leather, glass and metal effects, accompanied by animalier references and decorative details. The project thus explores the role of decorative ceramic claddings in characterizing spaces, through compositions and textures that recall the world of fashion.
The collaboration also includes Bathroom & Wellness solutions, broadening the relationship between claddings, materials and the design of the bathroom environment.
Elie Saab Surfaces & Wellness: marble, onyx effects and textile textures
At Cersaie 2026 the development of the Elie Saab Surfaces & Wellness collection continues, born from the collaboration between RAK Ceramics and the maison Elie Saab.
The proposal broadens its aesthetic research through marble, onyx, gemstone effects and textile textures, reinterpreted according to the maison's decorative language. The new finishes relate material, color and decoration, bringing references from high fashion into interior design.
The effect of veining, chromatic depth and surface textures help define claddings intended for projects where the decorative component plays a central role. The collection also includes solutions dedicated to wellness, developing a coordinated offering for the furnishing and cladding of the contemporary bathroom.

Flowing Horizons: RAK Ceramics' stand between architecture and surfaces
For Cersaie 2026, RAK Ceramics presents its collections within Flowing Horizons, an exhibition concept characterized by soft geometries, sinuous surfaces and interconnected environments.
The space is conceived as a fluid route, where floors, claddings, bathroom furniture and decorative surfaces are presented in relation to each other. The visual continuity between the different areas allows the collections to be seen as components of an overall architectural project, rather than as isolated materials.
The presence of plant elements also introduces the theme of sustainability, underscoring the company's focus on production efficiency, waste reduction and resource recovery. In the press release, RAK Ceramics links this approach to the principles of the circular economy, without however providing specific quantitative data on the environmental performance of the new collections.
Ceramic surfaces for architecture and interior design: RAK Ceramics' evolution
The novelties presented at Cersaie 2026 highlight the expansion of the RAK Ceramics offering, from the production of floors and claddings in ceramics and porcelain stoneware to the development of decorative surfaces, large slabs and coordinated solutions for the bathroom.
Collaborations with Roberto Cavalli and Elie Saab introduce different interpretations of decoration, while Maximus and the research of the Innotech Lab deepen the technical and aesthetic possibilities of ceramic surfaces.
The result is an offering that connects materials for architecture, designer claddings and furniture applications, highlighting how ceramics can contribute to the overall definition of contemporary spaces.
