From May 10 to November 23, 2025, Venice will host the 19th. International Architecture Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia, curated by architect and engineer Carlo Ratti. This year's edition, titled "Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective", will take place between the Giardini, Arsenale and Forte Marghera and focuses on the theme of climate change adaptation through a multidisciplinary and inclusive approach.
Biennale 2025 represents a real call to action for contemporary architecture, which today is called upon to rethink the built environment by harnessing natural, artificial and collective forms of intelligence. The title of the Exhibition stems precisely from this approach: “Intelligens”-with the Latin suffix “gens,” recalling the concept of community-invites us to move beyond a vision limited to artificial intelligence, promoting more sensitive and sustainable design.

The Circular Economy Manifesto
More than 750 international participants - including architects, engineers, artists, scientists, artisans and designers - will contribute projects, installations and meetings to the Biennale. Among the main tools for reflection, the Exhibition introduces the Circular Economy Manifesto, promoted by Carlo Ratti, developed in collaboration with Arup and with the support of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation.
The goal is clear: to spread a new model of sustainable design, based on recycled materials, reuse and reduction of environmental impact. A message that is concretely translated into the Biennale's own installations.

Saviola Group's sustainable contribution
Among the protagonists of the Architecture Biennale 2025 is the Saviola Group, which is participating as a sponsor with a technical contribution in line with the values of sustainability and circularity of the Exhibition. The company provided its Ecological Panel®, made entirely of post-consumer wood, for the construction of several exhibition elements:
- Cladding of the columns of the general set-up
- Communication panels installed at the Arsenal
- Structures of the Special Projects: A Satellite Symphony and Speakers' Corner

Thanks to the use of the Ecological Panel®, the felling of about 9,000 trees was avoided, concretely demonstrating how recycled materials for architecture can generate value while reducing environmental impact.
“We strongly believed in the partnership with the Biennale Architettura 2025,” said Alessandro Saviola, Group President, “because of the shared values and the opportunity to spread our sustainable proposal in a top international context.”

Ecological Panel®: a concrete example of circular economy
The choice of certified and recycled materials, such as Saviola Group's Ecological Panel®, is a perfect example of how it is possible to combine design, environmental responsibility and industrial innovation. At the Architecture 2025 Biennial, recycled wood thus becomes an active part of a cultural and design message that looks to the future.
