Alice Ceramica presents BILOBO: new ceramic surface for bathroom furnishings, living and interior design

With BILOBO, Alice Ceramica redefines the use of ceramics in design by proposing a surface that is not only decorative but becomes an integral part of the furniture.
The new element, conceived as a ceramic stool/side table, confirms the company's intention to extend its vision beyond the bathroom, bringing the material into contexts such as living areas, hospitality spaces and contract projects.

This choice is part of an evolution that sees the ceramic surface no longer relegated to the sanitary field, but as a protagonist in interior compositions, thanks to its aesthetic, sculptural and functional value.

BILOBO: sculptural design and monolithic ceramic surface

The new BILOBO presents itself as an object with a strong identity, defined by a continuous surface that merges two cylinders into a single sculptural mass.
Standing 45 cm high with dimensions 40x25 cm, its profile evokes primordial shapes and archaic symbols reinterpreted through an essential, contemporary and minimal language.

The polished surface, monolithic compactness and the plastic play of volumes transform BILOBO into a micro-architecture in ceramic, capable of dialoguing with multiple materials and environments.
Its hybrid nature – stool or side table – makes it a versatile complement, perfect for the bathroom as well as the living area, but also for hotels, suites, spas and contemporary lounges.

The result is a three-dimensional ceramic surface, not only functional but highly decorative, designed to become a focal point of the interior project.

Ceramics as a decorative surface: colors, finishes and materials

BILOBO is made entirely of ceramic, a material that Alice interprets with a synthesis of solidity and visual lightness.
The color palette is one of the project's strengths, thanks to a wide range of glossy, matte, textured and metallic ceramic surfaces:

  • glossy finishes: White, Myrtle, Pine, Tabasco, Honey
  • matte finishes: White, Black, Coffee, Alpine Green, Gray, Sand, Pink, Lagoon, Ginger, Mauve
  • textured surfaces: Carrara and Marquinia
  • metallic finishes: Platinum and Gold

This breadth allows BILOBO to fit naturally into contemporary interior design projects, establishing a harmonious dialogue with wood, stone, metals and technical surfaces.

Thanks to this chromatic flexibility, BILOBO becomes a true design tool, able to adapt to any moodboard.

Contemporary ceramics for bathroom and living: a new design direction

The introduction of BILOBO confirms Alice Ceramica's intention to place the ceramic material at the center of interior design. The company interprets ceramics not only as cladding or sanitary ware, but as a furnishing surface, a sculptural and characterizing element.

This is the new direction of ceramic design: to take the material beyond its traditional field of application and insert it into the world of furnishings, expanding creative possibilities for architects and interior designers.
