Ordita by De Castelli: new metal surfaces for the design industry

The new Ordita collection, metal surfaces for the design sector, was created as a synthesis of craftsmanship and technological experimentation. Presented by De Castelli at Milan Design Week 2025, it offers six brand new textural surfaces that interpret textile weaving in the language of metal, expanding the options for interior and contract.

Six textures for new applications

DeChiné, DeBatì, DeTubé, DeSequì, DePiqué and DeCramé finishes introduce three-dimensional textures obtained through oxidation, hammering and satin-finishing. The surfaces turn out to be dynamic and versatile, ideal for applications on cladding, paneling and custom designs for furniture and architecture.

Craftsmanship and industrial innovation

The Ordita project takes inspiration from the textile heritage of San Leucio, reinterpreting it with metalworking techniques. In this way, De Castelli offers solutions that combine aesthetics, strength and technical value, confirming itself in the field of designer metal surfaces.

Opportunities for manufacturers and designers

Ordita collection surfaces represent an opportunity for manufacturers, architects and designers looking for innovative and customizable materials. Thanks to design flexibility and quality processing, De Castelli opens up new possibilities for Italian and international design.
