The Salone del Mobile Riyadh 2025, scheduled from November 26 to 28, brings the excellence of Italian design to Saudi Arabia.

Natural Genius: contemporary parquet as an evolved surface for interior design

The Natural Genius project represents Listone Giordano’s thinking on contemporary parquet: a surface that combines nature, technology and signature design. 
The collections selected for Riyadh – Fabrique, Nui and Slide – interpret wood as a narrative material, capable of dialoguing with international architectures.

Each surface is the result of:

• advanced technological processes,
• evolved craftsmanship,

• collaboration with world-renowned designers.

Fabrique: Marc Sadler’s birch surface that reinterprets designer parquet

Designed by Marc Sadler, Fabrique reinterprets parquet as a textile-like wood surface. 
The result is a birch parquet with a continuous, organic, almost monolithic texture, achieved thanks to:

• innovative fiber treatments,
• cross-brushing,
• advanced color research.

The Fabrique surface evokes a soft, almost woven material while retaining the solidity of wood. 
An ideal parquet for contemporary interiors, luxury residences, hotels and interior design projects focused on materiality.

Nui: Piero Lissoni’s wood surface between minimalism and Japanese tradition

Nui, designed by Piero Lissoni, draws inspiration from the Japanese term “sew”, evoking the theme of connection. 
The surface interprets wood according to the language of Sashimono, the art of dry joinery from the Japanese tradition.

Main characteristics of the Nui surface:

• a continuous line that sews the space,
• an essential and timeless parquet,
• a pure aesthetic that enhances materiality,
• a narrative vision of wood.

Slide: Daniele Lago’s modular parquet as a geometric surface for interiors

With Slide, Daniele Lago introduces into the world of wood surfaces the principle of creative modularity. 
Three trapezoidal modules allow the designer – and the end user – to compose ever-changing patterns, overcoming the traditional concept of laying parquet.

Slide transforms the floor into a geometric surface, dynamic and customizable:

Salone del Mobile Riyadh 2025: new connections for Made in Italy materials and surfaces

The event is the result of a collaboration between Salone del Mobile.Milano, the Ministry of Culture of Saudi Arabia e the Architecture and Design Commission.

In line with Vision 2030, the objective is: to promote excellent materials and surfaces, encourage sustainable practices, generate new connections between designers and companies, foster cultural and productive collaborations and transform Riyadh into an international design hub.
