With its new headquarters in Foro Buonaparte in Milan, Fantini Mosaici opens up to the design world with a space designed as a hub for research on natural stone surfaces and terrazzo. Here Martian Veil, a concrete case study for imagining large-scale custom applications, has come to life.
Martian Veil: technical, sensory, modular terrazzo
The installation, developed by AB+AC Architects, is a modular handcrafted terrazzo wall made of selected Italian marbles (France Red, Ming Green, Siena Yellow, Verona Red). The curvilinear pattern and depth variation between 2.5 and 12.5 cm allow custom interpretation for contract and high-end residential.

A concept for future settings
Two evolutions designed for Martian Veil:
- a dramatic wall in a mountain hotel
- a monolithic fireplace in a private villa
In both cases, terrazzo is reinterpreted as an accent material, both structural and decorative, with the addition of an integrated olfactory system for experiential settings.

Italian craftsmanship and integrated design system
Each project signed Fantini Mosaici comes from a complete process: material selection, design, 3D modeling, prototyping, production and final installation. Participation in Milan Design Week 2025 confirmed the company's vision: to propose evolved surfaces for sensitive and multi-sensory architecture.
