The collections of LITHEA evoke natural inspirations, recall centuries‑old traditions, capture topographic references and resonate with mythological echoes. Born from collaboration with international architects and designers, they tell the dialogue between contemporary design language and the craft expertise of the Sicilian company, engaged in a constant path of experimentation on stone and marble surfaces.
A creative relationship that translates into a journey across the Mediterranean, giving rise to decorative coverings, material textures and complements that tell the stories of territories, cultures and memories of this extraordinary historical heritage.
Three-dimensional surfaces and fine marbles for contemporary architecture
On the occasion of the Salone del Mobile 2026, LITHEA continues its research into the noblest stones and marbles of the Italian tradition, interpreting them as narrative material capable of dialoguing with contemporary architecture and the sensory experience of space.
The new projects explore the expressive possibilities of a very rich lapidary heritage, transforming the material into three-dimensional surfaces, luxury coverings and furniture elements that enhance the manufacturing excellence of the Messina‑based company.
Over time, LITHEA has been able to reinterpret the world of decorative marble surfaces through a contemporary and original vision, establishing itself internationally for its ability to transform marble and stone into exclusive projects destined for home and contract luxury environments.
The new collections also confirm the central role of stone materials within contemporary interior design projects, where the material becomes an architectural, decorative and emotional tool.
International collaborations between design, art and surface design
The brand identity is consolidated thanks to important design collaborations that have enriched the company's catalog with the creative contribution of international designers and studios such as Martinelli Venezia, Elena Salmistraro, Michele De Lucchi, Azaz Architects, glàuco, Pierluigi Piu, Marella Ferrera, Astrid Luglio, Philippe Nigro, Egidio Panzera, Marco Piva and Mario Scairato.
The continuous cross‑fertilization between design culture and craft workmanship allows LITHEA to develop collections that transform stone surfaces into expressive tools with strong architectural value.
Through the language of surface design, marble thus becomes the protagonist of sophisticated environments dedicated to hospitality, high‑end residential and international contract projects.

Jadeela and Windows of Light: marble meets Arab culture
Among the novelties presented at the fair, the surface Jadeela, designed by Saudi architect Shahad Alazzaz for Azaz Architects, reinterprets the ancient art of equine braids from the Arab tradition through ornamental motifs and sophisticated material-rich workmanship.
For the Windows of Light covering, Shahad Alazzaz is instead inspired by the symbolic image of the window, introducing material openings that evoke new horizons and a dimension of hope. The collection is completed by the floor lamp Stellina, characterized by contrasting inserts and cuts of light that emphasize the three-dimensionality of the surface.
These projects represent a new interpretation of surfaces for interior design, where marble dialogues with light, architecture and the perception of space.
Cannitu, Arcate and Frammenti: nature and architecture become surface
Nature is also the protagonist of Cannitu, the covering signed by glàuco that recalls the free and vertical movement of reeds thanks to a refined layering of materials.
With the coffee table Arcate, the same studio brings the charm of the architectural element into interiors, combining structural solidity and visual lightness.
Designed by Martinelli Venezia, the sink system Sorgente and the covering Frammenti configure themselves as material micro‑architectures that transform landscapes and natural traces into sculpted surfaces, shaped by cavities, curves and reliefs.
The collections enhance the evolution of marble for architecture, transforming the surface into a narrative and design element.
Cavea, Minimo and Thalia: marble between scenography and material
The Cavea surface draws inspiration from marble quarries and the marks left by extraction processes, while Minimo presents itself as an essential sink‑system conceived as a pure volume carved into the material.
Theatre and Greek mythology are instead at the origin of Thalia, the collection designed by Elena Salmistraro composed of decorative masks that become stage presences with strong expressive impact, suspended between art, design and material research.
The new LITHEA collections confirm the evolution of contemporary stone surfaces towards increasingly decorative, three‑dimensional and design‑driven solutions for the interior, hospitality and contract luxury worlds.
